3.9 ラスベガスにはもちろん立ち寄らず、最後の目的地ロサンゼルスに入りました。465mile バス泊もこれで終わりです。
取り敢えずホテルを探して、荷物を預けます。さすが大都会。ホテル代が高く18.20$。
バスのツーリスト・パスを3$で買って、バス・マップ1$を頼りに市内を観光です。
まずは、サンタモニカ海岸 ここでローラスケートをするのが目的です。海岸に沿ってコースが設けられ、ブラブラ景色を眺めながらスケートを楽しみました。
ついでにベニスビーチもブラブラ。そこでは映画かテレビの撮影をしていました。
3.10 ハリウッド 定番コース チャイニーズシアター
映画を観なかったのが悔やまれます。映画はどこで観ても内容は一緒ですが、やはりこの映画館で観るべきでした。
ほかにもワックスミュージアム、ウォークオブフェイムを見て回りましたが、もう完全に観光疲れをしていたと思います。
3.11 そろそろ帰国の準備です。友人や選別をもらった人達にお土産を買いにダウンタウンをうろうろします。この時点で残金は630$ぐらいとメモしてありました。
完全に場違いな買い物客ですが、ブランドのバッグ（275.6$＋51.41$）を買いました。

36日間のアメリカ一周バス旅は終わりました。長旅で疲れもしましたが、もっとあちこち見てまわりたかった、という気持ちが大きかったと記憶しています。今ならLCCで航空券も安く購入でき、スマートフォンで要領よく旅をすることができますが、この旅は正にアナログの旅でした。旅の情報といえば、バイブルの”地球の歩き方”と各地のバスディーポットですれ違う日本人旅行客の情報ぐらいです。ひたすら自分の五感を働かせ、それを信じて行動するしかありませんでした。まずは安全第一、プラス趣くままの興味でだけです。感性と行動力のバス旅といっていいかもしれません。
今、40年ぶりに振り返って36日間を整理してみましたが、たぶん私の旅のスタイルがこの時にできたのだと思います。次はいつになるか分かりませんが、世界一周の旅ができる日を楽しみにしています。以上、青春の記録でした。
